Our Under 16 Netball Team was crowned All-Island Champions for the year 2024.  We applaud their efforts in accomplishing such a milestone during their athletic career.  A special thank you to the coaching staff, dedicated parents, and sports management team for their effort towards making this victory a reality.

In 1997, Sujatha established the Academy of Professional Studies as Sri Lanka’s first dedicated teacher training institute. We are excited to announce the opening of the second branch of Sujatha Preschool in Maharagama. Our second branch is designed to provide young learners with a nurturing and enriching environment, offering modern facilities and a stimulating curriculum to support early childhood development. The expansion into Maharagama reflects Sujatha’s commitment to growing its educational footprint and offering more families access to high-quality preschool education. We look forward to welcoming new young learners and fostering their growth in this vibrant and caring setting.

Sujatha Preschool has officially relocated from Nawala to a new, expanded facility in Nugegoda. This move allows us to offer enhanced learning environments and improved amenities for our young students. The new location features modern classrooms, interactive play areas, and updated facilities designed to enrich the early education experience. We are excited to continue providing exceptional care and education in our new Nugegoda home, supporting the development and growth of our students in a vibrant and welcoming setting.

In 2012, Sujatha marked a significant milestone by acquiring Highlands College in Maharagama, a move that broadened the school’s educational reach and capabilities. This strategic acquisition allowed Sujatha to expand its facilities and resources, enhancing the quality of education and providing new opportunities for students. The integration of Highlands College into the Sujatha family reinforced our commitment to educational excellence and growth, offering a more extensive and enriched learning environment for our students.

In 2019, Sujatha Vidyalaya proudly introduced its Innovation Tower, a cutting-edge addition to the upper school designed to enhance learning and provide modern facilities. The six-story building, complemented by a three-story underground car park, features state-of-the-art classrooms, labs, and collaborative spaces that foster creativity and technological advancement. This ambitious project reflects Sujatha’s commitment to providing an innovative and dynamic educational environment. The Innovation Tower is a testament to the school’s forward-thinking vision and dedication to preparing students for the future.

The new facility includes a state-of-the-art auditorium for performances and school events, as well as roof-top badminton courts that provide additional recreational opportunities. This modern building offers a vibrant and engaging environment for primary school students, reflecting Sujatha’s commitment to creating a supportive and dynamic learning space. The new addition underscores the school’s dedication to fostering both academic and extracurricular growth in our young learners.
